Social Media Management

Leveraging social media to boost brand awareness and engage with audiences is a passion of mine. Throughout my career, I've implemented strategies and tactics to enhance digital products, content, social, and editorial initiatives.

SUCCESSES INCLUDE:

  • ​Developed and executed a comprehensive digital strategy for NEWSnet that drove a 51% increase in user engagement across Facebook, Twitter (X), LinkedIn and YouTube.

  • Launched and managed Bridge Media LLC's social media accounts for national and local news, travel, and automotive brands, significantly expanding reach and engagement.

  • Managed and scheduled Detroit Jewish News content for social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter (X), Instagram, LinkedIn), resulting in a 30% growth in social media followers.

  • Created, produced, shot, and edited a video series highlighting community leaders, which significantly boosted Detroit Jewish News' brand visibility and engagement within the Metro Detroit area.

  • Under my management, 99.5 WYCD's Facebook saw a 15% increase in followers, became the No. 1 page among all of Entercom's country stations and a top 10 page among all of their affiliates ​

    • Produced engaging content with country artists like Jimmie Allen, LANCO, Tyler Rich and more

    • Created editorial calendars to follow-up on social media and blog content posting timeline

  • Engaged with audiences during the 2018 99.5 WYCD Ten Man Jam, which reached over 40K.

    • Developed show promotional campaign to engage with audiences and musical guests

    • Increased event awareness with a ticket giveaway

    • Designed and launched a custom Snapchat geofilter, which was used over 1K times.

  • Increased FOX19 NOW’s social media following by 25% on Facebook and 45% on Twitter in 5 months in order to increase engagement and ad revenue

    • Did so by increasing response rate, incorporating new tools and building audiences through emerging social platforms

      • Engaged with users on a broad scale and individually when needed

    • Developed galleries, listicles and polls to increase relativity among online community

  • Broke the story of the shooting death of Harambe at the Cincinnati Zoo for FOX19 NOW on Facebook, which earned over 400K impressions with 1.2K shares and 360 comments

  • Promoted the FOX19 Final Quarter on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. The official #FOX19FinalQuarter hashtag earns over 150K impressions and the Snapchat Geo-filter is used over 2K times every weekend during the fall. 

  • Increased 104.3 WOMC's social media following by 50% on Facebook in less than 2 years​

    • Launched the inaugural 104.3 WOMC Turn Up The Miracles Radiothon social media presence,
